As predicted, they will try to infiltrate us from the inside

As predicted, they will try to infiltrate us from the inside...I sent this out a couple of weeks ago but thought it merited posting here. Jim's comment to: "Election 2004:Not Over Yet" reminded me of this. There will be a part 2.
Taken verbatim from the Internet web site of the Democratic Socialists of America:
"The Progressive Caucus of the US House of Representatives is made up of 58 members of the House. The Caucus works to advance economic and social justice through sponsoring legislation that reflects its purpose. The Caucus also works with a coalition of organizations, called the Progressive Challenge, to bring new life to the progressive voice in US politics.

Progressive Challenge
Since January, the Institute for Policy Studies together with 60 other organizations (including the Interhemispheric Resource Center), is sponsoring weekly "Progressive Challenge" briefing sessions with Members of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and their staffers. Topics have included defense and intelligence issues, jobs and wages, social security, welfare reform, civil rights, corporate responsibility, health care reform, campaign finance reform, tax policy, international trade, globalization, sustainable communities and other issues. Working Groups have formed following these sessions to help build broader educational and advocacy campaigns, as well as to propose alternative legislative solutions. This collaborative project, dubbed the "Progressive Challenge," has been highly successful in both regenerating and energizing the Progressive Caucus within the House of Representatives (the Caucus now has 58 members), and in forging closer links between House members and staffers and Progressive organizations. The weekly briefing sessions have now stopped for the summer and will resume in September. We plan to spend the summer refining a "Fairness Agenda for America" and to present this agenda publicly on the steps of the Capitol in the fall. We also plan to hold a training school for local and state Progressive candidates at that time. The draft "Fairness Agenda" includes 8 broad points:Enact a Fairness Budget for America;Ensure Jobs and worker Rights for All;Promote a Just and Sustainable Global Economy;Fight for Equity for All;Promote a Foreign Policy which includes Demilitarization, Human Rights and a New Internationalism;Fight for Sustainable Communities and Environmental Justice;Make Social Investment a Priority; andGet Money out of Politics."

The "religious" site is freaky - they want a "Global Pastor" for a Pope & want his infallibility, which, as I understand it, is a cornerstone of the Catholic faith, done away with. They lay out their vision for what the "new" Catholic religion will be like, and altho it may be SOMEONE'S religion, it sure is not Roman Catholic. And by the way, did you notice a lot of socialist sounding terminology being used?
The site about Education I din't get too far into - I noticed it was "faith" based & I don't think any group like that will get too far with our government schools. I do have tapes on the hearings for GOALS 2000, and if your kids go to public school, they will have you thinking twice.
