If you know a young woman with political or public policy aspirations, the "Great American Conservative Women Calendar" from the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute would make a great holiday gift. It's an excellent reminder of all the talented women contributing to the success of the conservative cause.
Greater Bluffton Republican Club
A blog for Blufftonians and their neighbors to post opinions, meetings, events, worthy articles, occasional jokes, and in general be the place to go to know what's going on in our club as well as the Sun City, Hilton Head, and Beaufort County Republican Clubs.

Actually, I just forwarded the page to my DH as something to put on my Christmas Wish list:) My 13 year old daughter has asked for a signed copy of the O'Reilly book for kids.
A friend of mine in Bluffton wants to get together a group of Conservative Women Artists - any type of art, incl. writing, acting, visual art, etc. as we stand alone for the most part in a very liberal leaning area. I've often mused why it is that certain occupations attract the left loons...my artwork is not conservative by any stretch of the imagination, yet I am probably the most conservative of any of the women I know. The People's Packet is a great example - I've been told there is only one Republican who works there...and she was one of our biggest helps with the pre-election Bluffton Blitz. At the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina on HH, there are two Republicans. I am good friends with one, and she tells me horror stories about the attitude she must deal with at work. I know one art teacher at a public school who is conservative, she hasn't even joined the Union, but she, as all the others mentioned, keep their opinions to themselves for the most part. I avoid political discussion with my Gallery-mates when possible, but oh man, I know they hate it when I park my car with the 8 Bush/Cheney/2004 stickers in front of the shop. It's so much fun to annoy the liberals.
Whoops, I think I got off on a tangent.
